Welcome to The Marijuanalogue! This blog will focus on cannabis culture. What's going on with the valiant "War on Drugs"? What laws are being passed to decriminalize everybody's favorite herb? What actions are being taken to demonize it? With the advent of medical marijuana and 12 states with decriminalization legislation, more and more people are paying attention to "pot news".

I don't want to keep this blog strictly political, however. Pot humor, culture, science, news, or anything I feel is relevant to The Marijuanalogue. I am extremely interested in biochemistry, chemistry, and pharmacology, so I wish to explore these areas further with this blog (I love to read PubMed).

This country has kept marijuana demonized for the better part of the past century because of the lack of information kept from and excess of lies fed to the general public. It is my responsibility to provide you with the latest breakthroughs, facts, events, legislation, cannabis cup winning strains, and news in general as OBJECTIVELY AS POSSIBLE. The internet has been a key factor in an ongoing effort to undo a century's worth of propaganda, misinformation, and general brainwashing. It is my goal to continue that effort.
